With another 19 cents gain The Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) shares maintained their winning spot among tech sector stocks today, however the NASDAQ computer index (^IXK) still did not exhibit any noticeable rise. The index closed at 1.51, i.e. 20 points down from its previous close.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE)’s 6% gain was a repercussion of quarterly earnings (announced Thursday) that clearly eclipsed projections. Among other notable gainers were included Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL), Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) was up 1.5% to $19.64.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) weighs 3.76% of the index and decline 4% today as UBS lowered its target price to $700 before market opening. The conservative stance was in anticipation iPhone production delays during the first quarter of 2013 and the cannibalizing of the iPad sales.

(NASDAQ:DELL) traded a volume of 18.7 million with a 0.10cents (0.95%) decline.

Also there was a 20 point decline on Nasdaq Composite Index (^RIXF). Two other important indexes The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) and Morgan Stanley High Tech 35 Index also booked losses before the day close.
