Wonder Woman Director Wants to Prioritize Amazon Spinoff

In addition to having a different approach from Diana's origin story, Wonder Woman 1984 will catch up with a Diana Prince who has the experiences of a lowly mortal's entire lifetime under her belt.
Gadot went on to explain that Diana has been living for over six decades on Earth, in this new "man's world". "And this story is a story of its own".
Wonder Woman 1984 catapults Diana Prince and Steve Trevor into the vibrant world of the '80s, something arguably more like a Marvel movie such as Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor: Ragnarok. "But other than that, it's a whole new world, and the era is different, and Diana is different, and the story is new". "But she is different than when we last saw her". Gal Gadot told Total Film the story doesn't start with the ending of the first film, but picks up over 60 years later.
Whether Jenkins made a decision to move forward with a third film and this Amazon spinoff may ultimately depend on how Wonder Woman 1984 performs when it (hopefully) hits theaters later this year. Whereas Steve Trevor died in the direction of the top of the film, Surprise Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins made the choice to carry the character again for the sequel, although it's unclear how he'll return from the useless. "She's more mature. We meet a very much evolved character in this one".
"It is a sequel, insofar as nothing is contradicted between the two movies". This is its own standalone story that, of course, is also a continuation of our characters and their linear line.
"What I will say about him is that he's deeply, supremely excited", says Pine.
The report said Gadot and her family returned to Israel on an El Al flight from Los Angeles on June 12, the same flight as the son of an American media magnate who was deported for violating the country's coronavirus quarantine rules while paying a secret visit to his model girlfriend. It wasn't that I thought I needed both. "That's just one clear indication of a big tonal shift this time out". "I'm hoping to do this Amazon movie before we do the third Wonder Woman".
