Will Barry Allen and Kid Flash Face The Evil Black Flash?
Jul 16 2016
Kid Flash is not the only confirmed adjustment to the timeline.
The Black Racer's appearance on Central City may have to do with the fact that Barry Allen has messed with the timeline to save his mother's life. Luckily, he will be getting some help from Keiynan Lonsdale's Kid Flash.
ComicBook has found awesome pictures from the set of "The Flash" Season 3 showing Keiynan Lonsdale in his Kid Flash suit.
He often goes after those who have been gifted by the Speed Force, and there is a good chance that his television incarnation could try to kill Barry for meddling with the timeline. After all, Black Flash has an interesting role in "Flashpoint".
According to the ComicBook report, the actor playing the speedster is Todd Lasance from "The Vampire Diaries". Collider opines that the costume on the whole is close to what Zoom (Teddy Sears), the main antagonist in "The Flash" season 2, donned during his stint on the show.
For those who do not follow the comics, Wally West was debuted back in 1959.
The Flash will return to The CW on October 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Still, The CW has yet to confirm or give details about this new character.
After all, this is someone who is one of the most well-known and beloved speedsters in the DC comic book realm.
In "Flashpoint", Bart Allen takes on the mantle of Kid Flash.
The Flash broke the timeline somehow when he saved his mother in the season two finale after he (Grant Gustin's Barry) traveled back in time to stop the murder by the Reverse-Flash. In an effort to save Patty Spivot, he runs through time and ends up becoming Black Flash.
Lasance could also be a non-metahuman character, since in an interview with DC Entertainment has said he has heard whispers that there will be a big baddie for season 3, but could very well be a normal human.
The CW will host a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday July 23 with The Flash stars and executive producers ahead of the Season 3 premiere.
