Vietnam to receive a million Covid vaccine doses by July

It took 113 days to go from 500,000 total U.S. COVID-19 deaths to 600,000 - the second slowest 100,000-death jump since the pandemic began.
Worldwide, the US still is reporting the greatest total deaths, followed by Brazil, India and Mexico.
"There's still too many lives being lost", President Joe Biden said, noting that despite the daily number of dead dropping sharply, the continuing loss of life was still "a real tragedy".
"We have more work to do to beat this virus".
Newspapers, including the Guardian and the Times of London, reported that the government plans to introduce the requirement after deciding that vaccinating care home workers would protect vulnerable residents.
South Korea has inoculated 25% of its population with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine two weeks ahead of schedule, authorities said on Wednesday, putting the country on track to meet a target of 70% by September.

Experts are concerned about the recent arrival of the new Delta variant of the disease, which initially appeared in India. People's misconceptions are being removed as they see more people getting the vaccine jab.
