Man Utd Considering A Move For Inter’s Ivan Perisic As Back-Up Plan To BVB’s Jadon Sancho UK Media Claims

Gareth Bale has been linked with a return to Tottenham several times in the past, but this summer there appear to be concrete discussions about a move back to London.

Yet it's current Tottenham who are frontrunners in the race to bring the forward back to the Premier League.

Manager Zinedine Zidane nevertheless wants Bale off the books as soon as possible, and no longer involved with the squad.

Manchester United have begun to evaluate alternatives to Jadon Sancho according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Telegraph.

Sports website ESPN has reported Real Madrid and Spurs have agreed on a transfer fee around $35 million for Reguilon, who is set to sign a five-year contract with the Mourinho-managed club.

Bale has won four Champions League titles with Real, but he has a reputation for uninterestedness as well as poor fitness.

Bale still has an emotional attachment to Tottenham after joining the club from Southampton as 17-year-old and developing into one of the world's most exciting forwards.

He started just one match when last season resumed after the coronavirus hiatus as Real clinched their first la Liga title since 2017.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are in advanced talks to sign £25million-rated left-back Reguilon from Spanish giants Madrid and they could now pip Manchester United to his signature.

Reguilon will become Tottenham's fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Matt Doherty, and Joe Hart.
