Wednesday Night

Most of the day will be sunny, but we still can't rule out pop up thunderstorm midday and this afternoon.

A hot and humid week with daily afternoon shower and storm chances.

Tomorrow: Mostly Cloudy, Showers/Storms, Windy.

Storms will develop this evening west and northwest of the WOWT viewing area.

There does remain uncertainty on the timing of the storms the next couple days, specifically how long the rain will last in the morning.

Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest weather updates. An isolated strong or severe storm is possible. "Rain between 1" to 3" has fallen in those spots, with more expected overnight and Friday. Humidity remains very high, with dew points in the low 70s.

Friday looks to be the trickiest forecast day of the period. Highs will warm to the upper 80s, but it will feel more like the mid 90s. An area of low pressure from the Gulf of Mexico is expected to move up the East Coast later in the week.

We finally see a "cooldown" this weekend with highs in the 80s and better chances for rain before drying out Sunday.

This won't be quite the end of the showers this week, with a few more scattered showers on the way for Wednesday, but it'll get drier by the end of the week and temperatures return to normal.
