The next Legend of Zelda is in development

Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct is over, and it was jam-packed full of big announcements.

Nintendo has revealed it is working on a sequel to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the best-selling games for its Switch console.

The teaser trailer for the sequel revealed Link and Zelda exploring dark dungeons, terrifying villains, and a glimpse of Hyrule.

Towards the end of the presentation, Nintendo shocked fans when it dropped a teaser trailer for the Breath of the Wild 2.

New "Super Smash Bros". It was announced on the heels of new Link's Awakening footage and news about Super Smash Bros. additions.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch.

The Legend of Zelda made three appearances, first in the form of a remake.

As you can see, the game will maintain the original's cartoonish vibe-a stark contrast to Breath of the Wild's lifelike aura-but with Switch-appropriate graphics.
