55 year old, Sherry Vill, appearing with attorney Gloria Allred described an encounter with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo that occurred in 2017.
Vill, whose house was among those damaged, invited Cuomo into her home and expressed dismay at its condition. "As I have said before, the governor has greeted both men and women with hugs, a kiss on the cheek, forehead or hand for the past forty years". She claimed that the governor asked her to play strip poker and kissed her on the lips without her permission when she worked for him in 2017. I was holding my small dog in my arms and I thought he was going to pet my dog. "But instead he went to squeeze between the dog and mine and kiss me on the other cheek in what I felt was a highly sexual manner".
Cuomo tried to explain the inappropriate contact as a cultural norm. In response to a question about the photograph's origin, Allred said the video itself had long ago been deleted. "But I knew I felt embarrassed and weird about his kissing me".
The woman is reported to have said she was shocked when the Governor leaned in and kissed her cheek then kissed the other one.
Vill said Cuomo kissed her upon meeting her in her own home. The women's rights lawyer said she supports many of Cuomo's policy positions.
The report also says that investigators for the attorney general also questioned women accusing Cuomo of inappropriate behavior about their interactions with DeRosa. "I never felt as uncomfortable as I did the day that Gov. Cuomo came to my home".
The governor operates under a code of behavior he reportedly learned from his predecessor, Eliot Spitzer, who reportedly said: 'Never write when you can talk.
That voicemail contained an invitation for Vill to attend another press conference with Cuomo-this time without her husband.
"I felt he was coming on to me in my home", the Greece, New York resident noted, saying the governor also told her she was "beautiful".
"He towered over me", she said, "There was nothing I could do. I felt he was acting in a highly flirtatious and inappropriate manner, especially in front of my family and neighbors".
The governor next placed his hands on either side of Ruch's face and asked for a kiss, she said. "There was nothing I could do".
"I know the difference between an innocent gesture and a sexual one", she continued. She agreed to allow Cuomo inside her home.
Reactions from Cuomo's colleagues in government have increased as more and more women speak up about their experiences.
"The allegations against the governor connect to a pattern throughout his entire tenure of abusing power", she said. As I said, she's been very courageous.
However, she did not respond to the call.
The governor has denied any wrongdoing in the nursing home scandal, as well.
Allred said Vill reached out to her for representation. "2207520000" target="_blank">2017 Facebook post of the package.
Vill is roughly five feet tall; Cuomo claims to be just shy of six feet tall. Allred also said Vill has no plans at this time to file any lawsuit against the governor or NY state.
"It's not appropriate, really, in any setting", she said earlier this month. There are multiple calls for his resignation, as well as an investigation into the claims led by the state's attorney general, Letitia James. "Good, thorough, and fair investigations take time", he said.
That tweet prompted a response from another former aide, Ana Liss, who has also accused the governor of sexual harassment, to post a.GIF from Jurassic Park where a glass of water trembles as a dinosaur approaches with the comment "Tfw he's approaching your desk".
