The carrier plans to have more than 30 US markets running 5G connections by the end of the year. Verizon also announced that its next-generation wireless service will cost $10 more per month on top of its existing unlimited plans. The offer is available only on unlimited plans, which now start at $75 for one person without 5G. The 5G service will begin on April 11 in select parts of Chicago and Minneapolis.
