'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' global Trailer Released With Tons Of New

Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open in theaters on December 18, 2015.

Ashley Fleetwood posted the update on her Facebook page, which has quickly morphed into a #ForceforDaniel tribute for all his old and new fans.

A social media campaign, using the hashtag "ForceForDaniel", was launched in a bid to help him realise his final dream. Disney, the very entity that makes dreams come true, heard about the cause and decided that they needed to make Daniel's dream come true.

Daniel Fleetwood is battling a rare form of cancer and was told he only has months to live.

The terminally ill Star Wars super-fan was concerned he wouldn't be alive to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens when it premieres in December.

Earlier this week, the official Star Wars website revealed five new character posters for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

Abrams' newest and probably most awaited darling. "If I got to see the movie", told People, "I might actually die from happiness".
