Snoop Dogg Repeats Jamal Murray Message Following Lakers Loss

Anthony Davis #3 of the Los Angeles Lakers shoots a three point basket to win the game over Denver Nuggets in Game Two of the Western Conference Finals during the 2020 NBA Playoffs

Dwight Howard has been called for two technical fouls, one each in Games 2 and 3, and Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy was called for a technical foul in Game 2.

The bettor did win a $167,000 wager at -117 odds on the Lakers -7 in Game 1 of that series, which the Lakers won 126-114.

Denver, despite forcing 24 turnovers in the Game 2 loss, has watched Davis average 34 points in the series. Denver meanwhile, faces its third consecutive 3-1 deficit of the playoffs. Murray is doing a great job running off screens and getting free for 3-point attempts. A fourth quarter run by the Lakers, when the Nuggets had led by as many as 20, made it a tight game late in the fourth quarter.

Nuggets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

- Jamal Murray has taken over late, knocking down two triples and finding Millsap for the wide-open dunk.

On Thursday, James played 38 minutes and said he was plenty prepared for his matchup with Murray down the stretch.

In the second half, he continued to get it done as Murray has continued to find ways to attack the paint. That could all change with a win today which would force the Nuggets to have to win three straight which is highly unlikely.

Even Nuggets head coach Michael Malone could not help but sing Howard's praises.

Few players have showcased their talent in the "NBA Bubble" better than Murray has.

LeBron James had 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers, while Danny Green had 11 points.

- It's been a first-quarter shootout between Davis and Murray.

Davis got to work right away, scoring at will against Paul Millsap and Jerami Grant to have 12 of the Lakers' first 14 points. Anthony Davis leads the way with seven points and LeBron six. "(But) I looked at (Rajon) Rondo the whole time", Davis said after securing the 105-103 victory.

Davis came out extremely hot and forced his will beginning from the opening tip. Howard scored eight points with eight rebounds in the first quarter alone.

There were leaners, step-backs, mid-range pull-ups, and finishes through contact as he wanted to make it abundantly clear that he is a perennial All-Start and one of the best players in the world.

With 2.1 seconds left, Davis found himself wide open from the left wing before launching the game-winner, as if it was perfectly designed for him. I get exhausted sometimes, but I try to push myself through it knowing that me being out there, even if I'm not taking shots, I can be a decoy and spread the court for my teammates and let LeBron [James], AD [Anthony Davis] just be in attack mode.

James shot just two free throws during the Game 3 defeat to the Nuggets on Tuesday night at AdventHealth Arena.

Ganguli reported from Los Angeles.

LA has experienced much success through this year's playoffs but has had their share of tough opponents with the Nuggets proving to be more than just that. In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors drew 5.5 million viewers for Game 1, 4.4 million viewers for Game 2 and 6.2 million viewers for Game 3.

"So to me, AD coming off, flying through the wing like that, catch-and-shoot with the game on the line in the biggest moment of our season, nothing but net, that's a Mamba shot". Murray didn't get free throws on either trip, though he thought he deserved them.

- Jokic fouls Anthony Davis, picking up his fifth. "If he does that, we can get more minutes for him".

The Nuggets all of a sudden stopped getting a fair whistle despite multiple questionable plays.

The Nuggets have set a record by coming back from two 3-1 deficits this postseason, but no National Basketball Association team has ever come back from 3-0.

With history again not on their side, if this team has shown us anything, they should never be counted out.
