Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's new release Bharat has been hauling in the big bucks at the domestic box-office. His three films have crossed the mark of Rs 300 cr while two have earned more than 200 crores, out of those 14.

Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the film on his Twitter handle. The grand total stands in the range of 147.20-149.20 crores*. Fourth day collection: Rs 26.70 crore. The film is doing well at both multiplexes and single-screens and is being preferred by family audience, Adarsh said in his tweet.

The film saw a bumper opening and minted Rs. 42.30 crore on its first day.

Bharat is making the right noise not only across the nation but also worldwide and the testimony of the same is that Bharat is the first ever film of superstar Salman Khan to be released in UAE and Gulf. The low numbers however did not stop the buzz of Bharat, which is how the Eid release showed 20% growth.

His last two Eid releases, Tubelight and Race 3 had a lacklustre start at the box office. Salman Khan has set a new record with Bharat's success - he is the biggest star in Bollywood with maximum films (14) in the coveted Rs 100-crore club.

Second highest Bollywood opener ever Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan, which released on Christmas a year ago, holds the slot for third highest opener ever in India with a collection of Rs 52.25 crore on the first day of its release. It will be interesting to see how would India vs Australia Cricket World Cup 2019 match affect the collection of Bharat on fifth day. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Tabu, and others in the leading role.

The "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" sports five different looks in the film spanning 60 years, including a crucial part showcasing the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger.

However, did you know, Salman and director Ali Abbas Zafar were not convinced with how the movie would shape up. The film surpassed the total of Khan's Sultan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Apart from "Bharat", Salman will be seen in Prabhu Dheva's "Dabangg 3" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Inshallah".
