Sacha Baron Cohen Dupes Right-Wing Militia With Prank

In the clip below, Cohen gets up on stage dressed as a bluegrass singer and begins belting out a pretty obscene song.

In a video that is breaking the Internet, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen can be seen singing racist lyrics at a rally organised by a right-wing militia group, The Washington State Three Percenters.

Before video footage emerged of Cohen's reported performance, Yelm City Council member James Connor Blair wrote on his Facebook page: "Sacha Baron Cohen pulled a... stunt at the March For Our Rights 3 event".

The chorus from the song included: "Obama what we gonna do, Inject him with the Wuhan flu".

"So last minute, we had a man added by the production company who was sponsoring the event who we never worked with before". "Hillary Clinton what we gonna do/Lock her up like we used to do/W H O what we gonna do/Chop them up like the Saudis do".

Cohen's latest comedy figure also convinced the crowd to sing about journalists and how they should "chop them up like the Saudis do" - a reference to the death of Jamal Khashoggi, who was assassinated at the Saudi consulate in Turkey in 2018.

Sacha came as the honcho of a political action committee, or so he said. according to the Daily Beast.

The crowd sang back to Cohen repeating the lyrics to him.

While event organiser Matt Marshall said he was offended by the stunt, other commentators have not been so quick to cancel Cohen.

After the crowd realized what he was saying, and turned on him, his security then rushed the stage and evacuated them to a waiting private ambulance that was contracted to be their escape transport. "His security blocked event organizers from getting him off the stage, or pulling power from the generator".

After the rally video went viral, social media users wondered whether it would figure into a second season of Showtime's "Who Is America?" series, which aired two years ago and also featured the comedian in disguise.
