Ryan Reynolds Crashed Hugh Jackman’s ‘X-Men’ Reunion & Their Feud Continues

He can't escape Ryan's trolling, even on Zoom!

In typical Ryan Reynolds fashion, the actor couldn't pass up an opportunity to prank his favourite trolling victim - Hugh Jackman. Wolverine didn't get away that easily.

Ryan and Hugh, who co-starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, have always had a hilarious bromance. X-Men only left us with a hint of what would happen between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's characters. And the Zoom reunion was no different.

Somehow it's been a whole 20 years since the original X-Men movie was released and to celebrate that big milestone some of the original cast enjoyed a virtual reunion - which was epically gatecrashed by some X-Men stars from later movies in the franchise.

Several X-Men stars including Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James McAvoy, and Sophie Turner recently took part in a live stream promoting the Global Citizen: United For Our Future benefit concert. Before they could chat further about the trilogy, Ryan butted into the conversation.

Jackman explains to the Canadian that the four castmates were just reminiscing about their time in the three movies together.

It was a total trick - everyone quickly logged off, leaving Hugh and Ryan alone. "You know what that makes this a reunion for?" Ryan teased, before bringing in Liev Schrieber, who played Sabretooth in Origins, known for being... probably the worst movie in the franchise. As the video continues, Ryan Reynolds actually does end up joining the call, but the stars aren't too keen on sticking around once he enters.
