Because Georgia has 158 other counties - if Trump picks up just 85 more votes than Biden in each of them - well, he still loses, but he wins in Georgia!

Georgia's voting implementation manager Gabriel Sterling explained to reporters on Monday where the uncounted ballots came from.

A conservative group, True the Vote, on Monday moved to dismiss voter fraud lawsuits it had filed in Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania after the group's leader made baseless allegations questioning the integrity of the election. The secretary of state's office has called for Floyd's election director, Robert Brady, to resign. Almost 5 million votes were cast in the presidential election in Georgia, and Biden was leading President Donald Trump by about 14,000 votes. "We go through the same process we went through, how many ballots did you say you had on Election Day?"

One was tied to handling of absentee and early voting ballots during the water leak at State Farm Arena and the other was tied to election observers being asked to leave.

Georgia's audit of the almost 5 million ballots cast is set to be finalized Friday.

"I'm glad the audit revealed it, and it's important that all votes are counted", Martin told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

Election officials in the state's 159 counties have until 11:59 pm Wednesday local time to finish the hand tally. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been pressuring him to find ways to toss legally cast ballots in recent days, according to the Washington Post. He also told the Post that the recount would "affirm" the results of the initial count and prove the accuracy of the Dominion voting machines, which Trump has falsely claimed deleted votes cast for him. Now, The Wall Street Journal reports, the infighting has Georgia Republicans anxious about the party's future in the state, which voted for a Democratic presidential candidate for the first time since 1992 this year.

When Georgia voters return an absentee ballot, they have to sign an oath on an outer envelope. Graham denied Raffensperger's claims.

The state is required by law to certify its results by Friday, which would thwart long-shot efforts by Trump to delay certification and potentially overturn the results of the state's election through the Electoral College.
