Robert Griffin III's father receives jail time for reckless driving

Robert Griffin III's father will spend the next few weekends in a Virginia jail after unsuccessfully trying to fight a speeding ticket. "There is no quarterback controversy".
Cousins was 30 for 49 throwing for 316 yards with a landing and two interceptions. The idea posited by some in early September that they would just release him is totally unfounded and will not be happening.
At this level, the Redskins entrance workplace is adamant about defending their depth on the quarterback place. Griffin is expected to still be on the team past the November 3 trade deadline, according to Jason La Canfora of cbssports.com.
But that small fact aside, Washington G.M. Scot McCloughan apparently has no interest in moving him anyway, as Griffin hasn't created a stink inside the locker room. "He really doesn't. That's not something he is even thinking about. He's not giving up hope on him". If Griffin get hurt for an extended period of time then that would ruin any chance of a trade and also would put the Redskins on the hook for $16 million next season which is guaranteed if Griffin ends the season injured. Griffin was cleared to play before the season started, so he's not injured.
