Pretty Little Liars Special

Everyone's favorite teen murder drama Pretty Little Liars is probably set to end after seven seasons (the show is now in its sixth), but in a new interview with Good Morning America, showrunner I. Marlene King indicated that Rosewood may rise again on the big screen.

When the show returns this season, things will be a little different and the cast and crew of the show are going to ease fans into the change with a pre-premiere party called "Five Years Forward".

Photos released by the network showed that executive producer Marlene King will be joined by Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, Sasha Pieterse, Ian Harding, Tyler Blackburn and Keegan Allen in the episode. The producer said that although there is a chance to do a few things after the series it would not come anytime soon.

"I won't quote a famous line of Spencer Hastings, which is hope leads to eternal misery, so I won't say that, but I will say that I love Haleb, I ship Haleb, and there's always hope for Haleb, always", she said. There have been rumors that PLL will end after the seventh season, but does this mean a full-length movie is in the works instead?!

For those who are wondering about the details of the movie if it indeed pushes through, King didn't comment on anything. All the best characters will have to return, of course! And devastated by the idea that the next season, number seven, could be the last one ever? However, she also said that there will be a major twist which will be the biggest they've had so far.
