Predicted Tottenham Starting Lineup vs Manchester United

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United have officially revealed their starting line-up and substitutes to host Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur side this evening at Old Trafford.

Manchester United take on Tottenham in the Premier League later today and they will be looking to pick up a morale-boosting win at home.

The Special One replaced fan-favourite Mauricio Pochettino in November and has guided the north Londoners to three wins out of three.

Spurs' first loss under their new head coach came against his former club, with two Marcus Rashford goals securing victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side after Alli's equaliser.

Rashford scored in the sixth minute and then slotted home a second-half penalty to earn a 2-1 win and ease the pressure on Mourinho's successor, who had overseen their worst start to a season since 1988.

On the penalty he added: "I don't know, I didn't see it, but I think what happened inside of the box is a outcome of what happened before. It is easier for them against better teams, against teams who want more of the ball", he added.

United could easily have stretched their lead but Gazzaniga made amends by touching a thunderous Rashford shot onto the crossbar. He let it bounce before shooting past David de Gea into the far corner.

Christian Eriksen has reportedly been drawing attention from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United and Inter Milan because his contract at Tottenham Hotspur expires in 2020. The reason I want to say clearly they deserved to win the game was because in the first 30 minutes of the game they were much better than us.

However, since Jose Mourinho left United, Matic's playing time has slowly declined.

Mourinho, sacked by United last December, won his first three matches in charge of Spurs, with his team scoring 10 goals in the process but he has problems to sort out at the back as he targets a Champions League spot. They remain eight points behind fourth-placed Chelsea and just seven points above the relegation zone.
