Police Arrest Actor Vince Vaughn On Suspicion Of DUI

Vince Vaughn Was Arrested In The Early Hours Of The Morning

Hollywood star Vince Vaughn has been arrested on charges of drink driving and resisting arrest, police in Manhattan Beach, California, have confirmed.

Vaughn chose to submit a blood sample rather than a breathalyser to test his blood-alcohol level, Sergeant Zins said. In addition to both being cited for resisting, delaying, or obstructing officers, the 48-year-old actor was also charged with a misdemeanor DUI.

Vaughn and his passenger wouldn't budge at first when Manhattan Beach cops asked them to get out of the vehicle, TMZ reported. One of the two men who started the fight stabbed Buscemi multiple times causing him to be rushed to the hospital, while Vaughn and Rosenberg were arrested when police arrived and held overnight.

If convicted, Vince Vaughn will have to attend alcohol education classes and pay court fines and fees as well as legal fees.

The Delivery Man actor was previously arrested for his involvement in a 2001 bar brawl in Wilmington, North Carolina.

There is nothing that indicates Vince Vaughn's arrest or release was handled any differently than any other person's arrest.

It is unclear whether he's been formally charged, or where in the legal process the Wedding Crashers star finds himself now; multiple outlets have confirmed his arrest, though charges have been hard to pin down officially.

While he may be best known for his work in comedy films like Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers, and The Break-Up, Vaughn can most recently be seen in the 2017 action film Brawl in Cell Block 99.
