According to Variety, Charlie Brown's famous "Peanuts" holiday specials will be airing on PBS and PBS Kids.
Apple had planned to provide access to the specials for free through the Apple TV app, but petitioners called on the Cupertino company to bring the specials back to traditional broadcast television.
This time around, the Charlie Brown and Peanuts fans have won this battle.
AppleTV+ released the Thanksgiving special on Wednesday and while the service usually requires a membership, the Thanksgiving special will be available for free from November 25 until November 27.
"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will also be available for Apple TV+ subscribers starting December 4 and will be available for everyone for free from December 11 through December 13.
Apple offered each special to stream for free for a handful of days, but that didn't stop online petitions from gathering hundreds of thousands of signatures.
The Peanuts gang will also deck the halls with the premiere of "A Charlie Brown Christmas", streaming exclusively on Apple TV+ on December 4. The Associated Press says that Apple has "bowed to the backlash" and is now teaming with PBS for several ad-free broadcasts, on November 22 (Thanksgiving) and December 13 (Christmas).
