"To recap on some of the key specs, the OnePlus 8T features a 6.55" Fluid Display pushing a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels (402 ppi) and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

If you were looking at the 8/128 GB version of the 8T and to pick up some accessories for it, you may as well go for the Pop-Up bundle. The company stopped short of confirming to Input that it would never preinstall Facebook's apps and services again, and it declined to comment on how existing Nord and OnePlus 8-series owners could uninstall them from their devices.

"As a growing company, OnePlus is consistently exploring opportunities to fuel our growth, and meet the needs of more users worldwide, by starting to strategically diversify into new product categories and new price points, but at the same time, not compromising on our OnePlus promise", Navnit Nakra, VP and Chief Strategy Officer OnePlus India, told IANS. The new OnePlus 8T has a flat display and the previous OnePlus 8 has a curved display.

For photographs, there is a quad rear camera positioned at the back which comprises a 48MP primary shooter with Sony IMX586 sensor, supporting OIS and EIS. But the camera system does sport some niceties such as a Video Portrait mode that looks interesting.

In addition, the OnePlus 8T features a Snapdragon 865 flagship processor, LPDDR5 memory, and 12GB of ram for the premium edition. Both devices come with 5G connectivity. It packs a 3,700mAh battery. In a related note, the battery is a smidge larger at 4,500mAh. There is support for super-fast charging with a power of 65 W - adapter included. This means that the Gray Ash variant sells for £469 and €499 in the Eurozone, making it £90/€100 more expensive than the other colours in which OnePlus sells the Nord. The price of 6GB + 128GB variant is Rs. 41,999, 8GB + 128GB variant can be purchased for Rs. 44,999 and 12GB + 256GB variant for Rs. 49,999.
