The DuPage County Health Department on Thursday reported 110 new cases of COVID-19 in the county, with no deaths. This brings the total to Three Hundred Seventy-Five (375) positive cases in Mason County.

The Kane County Health Department reported a total of 12,047 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 322 deaths Friday.

India's coronavirus tally crossed the 4.5 million mark as 96,551 new cases and 1,209 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

The data also showed people 80 or older accounted for about 55 percent of all COVID-19 deaths, followed by people in their 70s (about 19 percent), people in their 60s (about 19 percent), people in their 30s (about 8 percent), people in their 40s (about 2 percent) and people in their 50s (about 2 percent).

There are 21,759 resident cases of covid-19 in nursing and personal care homes, and 4,727 cases among employees, for a total of 26,486 at 947 distinct facilities, according to the Department of Health.

Fremont County has the most cases of any county in the state with 552 confirmed cases and 14 deaths, according to the Wyoming Department of Health.

Three ZIP codes in McHenry County (61038, 60135 and 60072) have reported five cases or fewer, according to MCDH.

The McHenry County Health Department reports only ZIP code data that is located within McHenry County, a department spokeswoman said.

"We know that congregation, especially over holidays and in college and university settings, yields increased case counts".
