"Negotiations are going well" as Arsenal close in on top winger target

The Belgian has been heavily linked with the Gunners since the winter transfer window and it appears that they are on the cusp of an agreement with the winger keen on returning to Europe.

Yannick Carrasco could be an Arsenal player soon after reports emerged that the Premier League club had made a bid for the Dalian Yifang attacker.

The North London club did try to bring in Yannick Carrasco during the January transfer window but Dalian Yifang - the Chinese club where is now plays wanted £25 million for the winger.

#Carrasco wants to return in Europe from Cina and go to #EPL.

The winger claims that the club he is in talks with are prepared to meet Dalian Yifang's terms so he hopes the chairman will grant him his wish to leave this summer.

The news comes after Carrasco told Belgian media this week that he has an offer on the table and negotiations with his agent are progressing well as he looks to seal a move back to Europe.

The former Atletico Madrid winger has been eyed by Unai Emery and Arsenal for a while, with the Gunners expressing an interest in signing him in January before moving for Denis Suarez instead.

While this is the initial demand but surely, Arsenal will not be willing to pay so much for Yannick Carrasco given that Emery only has around £45 million to spend during the summer transfer window.
