Since September till date, the NCB has arrested over 20 persons including Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, now on bail, her brother Showik and other film industry related persons, drug financiers, suppliers or peddlers, including some foreigners.

Trouble is mounting for Comedian Bharti Singh. Bharti also hosts the popular dance reality show India's Best Dancer on Sony TV, whose grand finale is scheduled to be held this weekend.

Bharti and Haarsh got married on December 3, 2017, in Goa.

The quantity allegedly seized from Singh's possession is considered as "small quantity" under the act, as against "commercial quantity", an NCB official said. They had also worked in a number of comedy shows which had Haarsh on board as the scriptwriter and Bharti as the performer.
