NEW: CDC Issues Guidance on Travel for Fully Vaccinated People

The CDC had held off changing its travel guidance even as vaccinations increased, irking the travel industry. Vaccinated travelers can go overseas without getting a Covid-19 test before travel unless it is required by the worldwide destination, the new guidelines say. "Vaccines can help us return to the things we love about life, so we encourage every American to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity". Specifically, the new guidelines today speaks to travel.

The CDC suggests holding Easter egg hunts with your household or outdoors with others at a distance of 6 feet apart. It is also keeping requirements that almost all global US air visitors getting a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to the United States.

To travel within the country, those who have received the vaccines will not have to quarantine or undergo a Covid-19 test after traveling, said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
