Man United in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Set to join Manchester United

TF1 report that 24-year-old PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot is now in contract discussions with Premier League duo Manchester United and Everton about a move. Till date the midfielder has featured 227 times for Les Parisiens, bagging 24 goals and setting up 17 more, winning six Ligue 1 titles in the process.

The Frenchman has been a centre of controversy at PSG over the last few months and was dropped by the club after he refused to sign a new deal at the club.

According to French news outlet Le10Sport, Manchester United are one of a number of clubs who are keeping a close eye on Rabiot and the Red Devils have now offered a bumper contract to lure him over to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United will be losing Ander Herrera this summer with his contract set to expire, while Paul Pogba's future is also far from certain, amid strong interest from Real Madrid.

Rabiot, despite having not played for six months, is a quality operator with enormous potential.

Along with these wages, Le10Sport report that Rabiot has also been offered an impressive signing-on fee worth €5 million (£4.43m).

According to the Mail, United's biggest competition may come from arch-rivals Liverpool, with Rabiot reportedly keen on joining Jurgen Klopp's Champions League winners.

Manchester United are preparing for a fair deal of arrivals and exits this summer following a torrid season of football.
