Lunar Eclipse 2020: Date, Time And Why It's Called 'Strawberry Moon' Eclipse
Nov 22 2020
NASA added in its release that although the partial penumbral eclipse won't have any major influence on Earth, it could potentially affect some spacecraft.
The name for the penumbral lunar eclipse comes from the full moon's reddish color that is a result of the earth coming between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow on the latter.
But don't expect a red-hued moon resembling a "blood moon", which occurs when there is a total lunar eclipse.
It will still be a spectacle though, so set your alarm for the early hours and marvel at the sky! For this year's Strawberry Moon, make sure you cast your gaze towards the sky.

In Tunisia, the eclipse will begin as soon as the moon rises and will end at 10:04 p.m., knowing that it is hard to observe this phenomenon with the naked eye given the difficulty of detecting the slight change in the Moon's luminosity.
June brings with it a new astronomical treat and marks the start of another eclipse season for 2020.
Phenomenons like lunar eclipse have always been surrounded with a number of myths and taboos, a lot of which are all false and come with no scientific backing. Other people suggest that eating or drinking during the period of a lunar eclipse should be strictly prohibited.
Would you notice anything was amiss with the Moon during mid-penumbral eclipse, if you didn't know better?
In the Annular Solar Eclipse, which is going to take place on June 21, the Sun appears to be like a Ring of Fire.
There are two more lunar eclipses slated to happen this year, on 5th July and 30th November, 2020. It is in no way a substitute for qualified medical opinion. Moongazing is quite calming as is but tonight will be a bit more special.
