Los Angeles 2015: Fiat 500e Stormtrooper's mind-blowing design

Mind implosion- Garage

The Fiat 500e is nowhere near these numbers, but once the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show opens its gates to the public, this may change.

Fiat Chrysler Cars itself has asked Lapo Elkann's Garage Italia Customs to provide this one-off, which commemorates the First Order stormtroopers in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

We laughed at those commercials for Star Wars makeup (especially when Stephen Colbert did a segment on the silly concept), but this marketing tie-in doesn't make us want to completely cringe: the Stormtrooper Fiat. If you're a fan of Star Wars and plan on seeing The Force Awakens, let this be reason enough.

Need a reason to hightail it to the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show? The display will be part of collaboration between Lucasfilm and FCA US.

The exterior livery of the Fiat 500e stormtrooper is inspired by the armor of the First Order Legion, with a two-tone black and white custom painting of the auto body. The windshield and the side windows will bring to mind the visor and helmet of the First Order stormtrooper. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles chief executive officer Sergio Marchionne has urged us all not to buy the money-losing Fiat 500e (as in battery-driven electric) and until now we were glad to heed his advice.

The seats are wrapped in leather and Alcantara while the white dashboard got a few black paint with the Star Wars logo printed on the glovebox. The brand recently announced the victor of E!'s #DVFxFIAT social contest.
