HBO Max Unveils Trailer for Doug Liman Ensemble Thriller Locked Down

The biggest issue with Locked Down now is that it's only releasing on HBO Max on 14 January.

Max is bringing out a romantic comedy titled "Locked Down" - about a couple pulling off a heist against the backdrop of quarantine. At the same time, Liman assembled a hell of a cast, led by Chiwetel Ejiofor and Anne Hathaway.

Oscar victor Anne Hathaway and nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor play the unhappy pair, stuck together because of London's lock down.

The first trailer for "Locked Down", a heist movie and romance starring Hathaway and Ejiofor and directed by "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" director Doug Liman, shows a more human level drama about people coping with the harsh economic and emotional realities of being in a pandemic.

Hathaway and Ejiofor portray a couple ready to separate in the clip released on Tuesday.

The cast of the film is practically all-star and consists of Anne Hathaway, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ben Stiller, Stephen Merchant, Ben Kingsley, Lucy Boynton, Mindy Kaling e Dule Hill. "As if the odds were so against us that it made me want to lean into the exhilaration and take risks with my performance".

She said Linda "is messy and a little nuts and I liked that". Locked Down (formerly known as Lockdown).
