Lions vs. Bears & More

Mitchell Trubisky leads the Bears into Detroit to take on Jeff Driskell and the Lions

Blough joins elite company this season: He is one of four quarterbacks to throw for at least 130 yards and two touchdowns in a quarter, according to the Detroit Lions. Blough was announced as the starter on Wednesday night. Things are not likely to get easier for Driskel, even though the Lions are back home.

Trubisky had three outstanding touch throws - an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jesper Horsted, and 35- and 32-yarders to Anthony Miller on third down that set up the go-ahead touchdown, scored when Trubisky was forced to throw to his third read, David Montgomery.

Bears' wide receiver Taylor Gabriel and tight end Ben Braunecker are expected to stay sidelined with concussions for the game.

The Bills are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games after allowing fewer than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

Last Thanksgiving game: Bears beat Lions, 23-16, on November 22, 2018.

Overall, favorites on Thanksgiving have gone 30-11 ATS since 2005. The contest is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX.

I'm here to break down each team's spot, as well as dive into my favorite spreads, totals, team totals, and even moneylines for this week of the National Football League schedule. Dallas lost a huge game at the Patriots on Sunday and is battling for the NFC East title with Philadelphia.

Cowboys team leaders: Passing - Dak Prescott (3,433 yds). Chicago ranks 28th in scoring offense (17.1 ppg), 29th in total (269.3) and rushing yards (78.5) per game. Since their bye week they completely shut down the Broncos with Brandon Allen at the helm, held down the Redskins with Dwayne Haskins and did a fine job against the Browns, but they gave up more than 20 points twice to the Miami Dolphins and had no answer for the Eagles rushing attack in Week 8. If you're a scoreboard watcher, they've allowed just 20 points or more three times this season, and oddly enough, two of those times came from the Dolphins.

Saints group leader: Passing - Drew Brees (1,607 yds). A New Orleans win (or a tie coupled with a Panthers loss or tie) will wrap up the NFC South for the Saints and make this a Thanksgiving to celebrate. The Falcons, who are hopeful about having both wide receiver Julio Jones and running back Devonta Freeman on the field, have just one home win this season and it was back in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. And for dessert, followers get the New Orleans Saints in opposition to the Atlanta Falcons.
