The Rolling Loud Music Festival celebrating global hip-hop artists in South Florida did not go so well for Kodak Black and Lil Wayne.

His charges following Saturday's incident have not yet been officially confirmed.

Cohen is now saying that police officers took the photo and circulated it to the media.

Officials said Black's arrest comes after an extensive investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Miami-Dade Police Northside Gang Unit and the U.S. Marshals.

Additionally, rap legend Lil Wayne ended up not performing at the music festival because he refused to subject himself to being searched in order to perform.

Kodak Black was arrested at the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Miami, right before he was set to perform, authorities said.

According to The Blast, Kodak's attorney, Bradford Cohen, sent a message on behalf of the star to the 18-year-old's parents that praised the "amazing young man" who "represents the inherent good in people".

He had only been out of prison for eight months, having served a sentence stemming from charges of marijuana possession, child neglect, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He also faces a charge of first-degree criminal sexual misconduct in SC after allegations surfaced that he raped a woman after a 2016 concert.

According to U.S. Marshals, the rapper was arrested as he arrived at the festival for his performance. He is set to appear in Miami federal court on Monday (May 13).
