Kevin De Bruyne is set to miss at least a month of action, including three hugely important games in the Premier League title race, after suffering a hamstring injury during Manchester City's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday.
There will be at least nine matches in the six-week estimated length of De Bruyne's injury which will include their Champions League last-16 first leg against German side Borussia Monchengladbach at Borussia Park.
He will also miss the Premier League matches against West Bromwich, Sheffield United, Burnley City's trip to the title rivals is nearly certain Liverpool On February 7th.
This means De Bruyne will miss tomorrow's FA Cup match at Cheltenham Stadium, a match that he would always have been likely to miss anyway.
"Kevin, like the doctor said today after a scan yesterday, will be between four and six weeks out", he said. "It's a big blow, but we have to move forward", said Guardiola.
"I'm not saying anything that anyone doesn't know - it is unfortunate for him and for us and we have to find a solution because everyone in their own life is struggling in the situation we are living in and we have to adapt".
