Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet Join Star-Studded Cast of Adam McKay’s ‘Don’t Look Up’

Well, while you kept imagining, the director, Adam Mckay has cast some of the biggest stars in Hollywood for his next film.

And joining the award-winning funny-man and frequent Will Ferrell collaborator is an all-star cast for the ages. As beforehand introduced, Cate Blanchett and Rob Morgan are a part of the solid.

Actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet are all set to affix the star-studded forged of Netflix's comedy Don't Look Up.

Meanwhile, Leonardo was final seen within the Oscar-nominated movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood whereby he performed the function of Rock Dalton.

However, Netflix haven't made any announcement yet. Besides helming and co-producing the highly-awaited project, McKay has also written the script with the storyline being centered on two low-level scientists who discover that a meteor will strike Earth in six months.

According to Collider, DiCaprio was forced to wait to see if he could film Don't Look Up before he was due to begin shooting Martin Scorsese's crime drama Killers of the Flower Moon in February next year.

As a co-production between Paramount and Netflix, we'd expect a theatrical release of some sort before it lands on the streaming platform but it's early days yet.

McKay, whose last film Vice told the story of former United States vice president Dick Cheney, says he wanted to work on something a bit lighter as a palette cleanser. The 52- year-old McKay had actually done most lately with the pungent Satire of "The Big Short" and also the Dick Cheney Biopic "Vice" (2 Oscar elections) to attract focus.
