Jennifer Garner Stuns on Oscars 2016 Red Carpet After 'Vanity Fair' Interview

On the eve of the all-eyes-on-Hollywood Oscars weekend, actress Jennifer Garner broke her silence on her divorce from Academy Award victor Ben Affleck and the scandal involving their three children's nanny.

The Miracles From Heaven actress and Oscar presenter, 43, wore a not-so-basic black Atelier Versace dress with an asymmetrical neckline, a half-embellished bodice and a draped skirt.

Addressing the belief that Affleck's relationship with nanny Christine Ouzounian caused the split, Garner said: "Let me just tell you something".

"We had been isolated for a considerable length of time before I ever found out about the babysitter", said the Supernatural occurrences From Paradise performer. She had nothing to with our decision to divorce.

"It's not great for your kinds for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives", she explained. Months later, Jennifer is still picking up the pieces. While many stars don't want to involve their kids in the scandals and rumors in a divorce, Garner had to face her children and talk to them about the meaning of "scandal". No one needs to hate him for me.

"When I can't sleep - and I am not someone who typically has that problem, but I really have in the a year ago - and I need something to switch my brain off, it has been Tina Fey and Amy Poehler". Certainly we don't have to beat the guy up. Giving her supporters a final word about Affleck, she said, she was aware of everything during the marriage and no one should worry much since she's taking care of herself pretty well. "I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes".

Despite their split, Jennifer called Ben "the love of my life" but insisted they will not be reconciling.

During the interview, the Alias actress declared that the marriage is real and not "fake" in a way that Ben and her three kids are her priority, People reported. "And I'm still the only person that knows some of his truths", Jen says candidly.

"[Ben's] the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous", she added. "He can cast quite a shadow".
