Whitley, Laurel, Knox and Bell counties all report new COVID-19 cases Monday

On Friday, health officials announced 132 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the province's total number of cases to 6,962 since the pandemic began.

The Knox County Health Department reported nine new COVID-19 cases Monday, including four cases involving children, 12 new cases Friday, which involve two children, three new cases Thursday, eight new cases Wednesday, and five new cases Tuesday.

Miami County Public Health has reported 1,259 positive cases with 17 new cases over the weekend on Monday. Currently, two Shelby County residents are hospitalized because of COVID-19.

Countywide hospitalizations have been gradually declining since late July and now reflect figures seen in the spring, per L.A.'s COVID-19 surveillance dashboard.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment's online map noted that 27,314 Douglas County residents had been tested for the disease so far. The total number of people who have recovered is 401.

255 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Ireland on Sunday (13 September).

On Sunday, Beshear reported 536 new COVID-19 cases, of which 87 cases involved children ages 18 and under, and three new deaths.

There are now 2,023 net active cases in the county. A total of 467 inmates have been tested to date, with 38 of them testing positive - all of which have either recovered or been released.

In Monday's update from the state, it was announced OH has 138,484 cases of COVID-19. There have been 4,419 deaths related to COVID-19 in Ohio.

Of the cases notified today, 98 are men and 110 are women.

"But we are working each day to find the balance of keeping new cases low and slow to protect those who are most vulnerable, while keeping our communities going". The age range of those testing posting is less than 1 year old to 109 years of age.
