Major Federal Project Pushing Development of COVID-19 Vaccine

Trump has hailed the program and said Thursday that he is personally overseeing it and promised "to fast-track it like you've never seen before". The project's goal is to develop 300 million doses of the new vaccine, or enough doses to vaccinate a majority of Americans, by January 2021, according to Bloomberg .

Gilead to get coronavirus drug out as soon as this week

Japan has following in the footsteps of the USA by announcing plans to fast track a review in to the anti-viral drug Remdesivir. "That's thanks to a lot of patients and caregivers that participate in our clinical trials". It was reported that those given the drugs were able to leave the hospital in 11 days on average versus 15 days for the comparison group. The drugmaker said the findings were inconclusive because the study was terminated early.

Saline County Steady With 21 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases

Saturday. A Livingston County man in his 30s and another in his 50s are recovering at home in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19. That list can be found here. Every county surrounding Centre County has at least 21 confirmed cases of the coronavirus . Grayson County Health Department Director Amanda Ortez said the new patients are all isolated at home.

President Trump: Tara Reade's accusations 'very credible'

The Atlantic reported Reade "abruptly" canceled an interview with Chris Wallace on " Fox News Sunday " this morning. The president suggested that Ms Reade's account could be a "false accusation ", a topic he said he knew well.

More Positive COVID-19 Cases in Iowa ; Five More Deaths

Of the previous cases, 10 individuals have recovered or are recovering from the virus. They say 2,397 of those people have recovered. There are 25 cases hospitalized and 22 have died from COVID-19 related illness. The death toll for the county is now at 70 and the number of confirmed cases is at 1,101. These cases by gender are from Collin County health reports with no explanation for the difference between reported and listed cases.
