Happy Twin Peaks Day! Showtime Unveils Revival Posters

The posters feature two very recognizable characters for any fans of the show-which makes it even more fitting for the holiday.

Now we just have to wait another three months for the season three premiere.

Directed entirely by David Lynch, the 18-part limited event series picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a weird northwestern town were stunned when homecoming queen Laura Palmer was murdered.

The critically-acclaimed television phenomenon "TWIN PEAKS" returns as a limited series to Showtime in 2017. The show has been doing an excellent job at keeping it extremely close to the vest with regards to plot.

The musical lineup for the evening portion of the two-day event includes Real Estate and Agnes Obel on Thursday, March 16 and Neko Case and M. Ward on Friday, March 17.

The new series isexecutive produced by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost.

Starting at noon on March 16, locals can also stop by the Double R Diner pop-up shop opposite The Showtime House, where they can enjoy free High Brew Coffee and Tiny Pies cherry pie. The third and fourth episodes of the series will be available online immediately after to Showtime Anytime subscribers before their linear premieres on May 28.
