Gorillaz announce North American tour

The British cartoon band Gorillaz has announced a stop at the Infinite Energy Center as part of its North American tour in support of a new album, Humanz.

That will change this fall when Albarn and his long list of contributors headline III Points, set to take place October 13 through 15 at Mana Wynwood, on the only Florida stop of the Gorillaz' 2017 world tour.

The band will also be making stops at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco and the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in NY as part of the tour.

Billboard reports that several of the album's featured guests will join them on tour.

"Humanz" marks the first album in six years for Gorillaz, co-founded by Damon Albarn (Blur) and illustrator Jamie Hewlett (co-creator of the comic-book "Tank Girl").
