Giuliani says he is not going to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden attend a news conference in Kiev Ukraine

Joe Biden's campaign has offered its first response after President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said he would make a now-canceled trip to Ukraine to urge the country to investigate the Democratic presidential candidate. "I am actually quite confident that the facts, with regard to vice president - former vice president - Biden are so compelling that there's no way he gets from here to the election, without this being investigated, OK?"

"I'm not gonna go", he said, "because I think I'm walking into a group of people that are enemies of the President, in some cases enemies of the United States and, in one case, an already convicted person who has been found to be involved in assisting the Democrats with the 2016 election". He referred further questions to Giuliani.

Giuliani added that he canceled the trip to avoid adding the perception of politicizing the matter.

But the more important question is how deep and how high did the alleged Ukraine conspiracy go?'

Within a year of the prosecutor's removal, Ukraine's new prosecutor general dismissed the case against the company, Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company controlled by one of Ukraine's top oligarchs.

Indeed, Giuliani has peppered his cancelation with new threats, suggesting that the new government in Ukraine may be enemies of America.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke were among the 2020 Democratic contenders to express concern about Giuliani's efforts, according to the CNN report. What does Joe have going for him that other Democrats are missing? Some political experts believe it's Biden's name idea.

"I don't want any favors. And if I wanted to meddle in that election-which I don't-I could have held this for a year and dropped it right before the convention", Giuliani said. The president's former campaign chair, Paul Manafort, is now serving a 7 1/2 year sentence for money laundering and other charges tied to his work on behalf of a pro-Moscow Ukrainian government.

One hallmark of Giuliani's work for Trump is his shifting explanations, which can make following his story hard. Mr. Trump has no longer too long within the past urged he would esteem Legal legit Current William P. Barr to gaze into the fabric gathered by the Ukrainian prosecutors. "We've had enough of that and Rudy Giuliani should just back off".

Giuliani said that his decisions had nothing to do with the upcoming 2020 USA presidential election.

Trump has repeatedly given mixed messages on US policy toward Russian Federation, including during a Fox Business Network interview this month in which he suggested that it was a "rumor" that Russian Federation had persuaded embattled Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro not to flee the country - contradicting Pompeo's statement on the matter.

"I will speak to him about it before he leaves. I don't think it is". Expect Republicans and his fellow Democrats to attack his proposal until Biden provides specifics.

"Certainly it would be an appropriate thing to speak to him about, but I have not done that as of yet... We should have then used various other pressures to address these other issues".

"I think in terms of the magnitude of the sanctions that have been put on Russian Federation, they are more significant than have been imposed in the past", he continued.
