GAME admits many Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Editions won't arrive today

Blaming Paypal and banks for not releasing funds, GAME made a lot of customers very angry, which lead to long waiting hours for many when calling the store's customers service line.

Last week, GAME United Kingdom canceled multiple pre-orders for Fallout 4, including those made for the Pip Boy Edition.

GAME has blamed banks and PayPal for its payment problems, which the chain informed customers about just four days ago.

It is now the 11th of November meaning that Fallout 4 was released yesterday.

It is unclear as of yet if these customers will receive their orders in time for release, or if there will be a delay.

"At every stage, we have reassured our customers that their Pip-Boys have been reserved for them".

It comes after customers on Friday who pre-ordered the game were told there were payment issues and orders weren't signed off properly.

Since Friday, our customer service team has been working hard to contact all impacted customers to ensure that as many orders as possible are fulfilled for launch day. And if you're still on the hunt for a Pip Boy Edition, we have something in here for you too. There are a number of customers we have not yet been able to call and we have contacted them via email this evening.

GAME, the only place in the United Kingdom to buy Fallout 4's £100 Pip-Boy Edition, emailed a number of customers on Friday letting them know their pre-orders were cancelled.

The email to customers, shared with Eurogamer by readers that continue to be affected by the problem, says much the same.

Now that the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition is arriving, we want to offer a few tips that we think will help you get through today's release date without any headaches.

Last Generation saw a rise in pre-order bonuses and exclusive editions with many failing to live up to the hype or being divorced of the source material, typically created by marketing and PR companies.

"What a load of crap".

Amid a backlash from disappointed fans, the retailer has since said PayPal and bank issues affected a "small number of customers", resulting in the cancellations, and committed to replacing the orders. This was contrary to GAME's previous claims of contacting the banks and requesting for the payment to be processed. You have failed to respond despite assuring her you would do so.
