‘Fast & Furious’ Movie Series To End With 11th Instalment
Oct 25 2020
The long-running Fast And Furious franchise will come to an end after the forthcoming 10th and 11th films have released. That being said, the Fast saga might not be completely done as it's possible spin-offs could continue the story well into the future.
While the main film saga following Diesel and his fellow band of vehicle enthusiasts will come to an end with the 11th film, the cinematic universe of Fast & Furious - which has grossed more than US$5.7 billion (S$7.7 billion) - is not going away so soon.
Although we have still yet to see the ninth Fast and Furious instalment, now set to head to theatres next summer, Universal is still ready to run this almost 20-year-old sleek buggy as far as its engine will take it.

Of course, it will be years before the movies are released, as F9 has been pushed back until May of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Vin Diesel previously teased the conclusion of Dom Toretto's character and the rest of his crew could be very well being split into two movies in early 2020.
As for the final two instalments, there is not much known about the plot.
The ninth film brings back Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Sung Kang among others.
But it looks like there will be a lot more Fast and Furious because they could release more Spin offs, as was Hobbs & Shaw, which although it did not play the main story, was quite successful and well received by the fans. At the same time, the biggest question remains that will Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who became core cast members of F6, F7, "The Fate of the Furious" and franchise's spinoff "Hobbs & Shaw", return for the finale. It was later announced that Chris Morgan was recruited as the screenwriter for the movie.
