Lampard's men are now in the third position on the English Premier League, EPL, table with 26 points from 12 games.

But Mikel did say that Hazard, despite his natural talent, wasn't the hardest worker in training. When asked if he was surprised by Lampard's impact at Chelsea while on global duty with Belgium, Hazard told reporters: "No, not at all".

Hazard joined Real Madrid in the summer, with the Belgian thus far having played in 11 games across LaLiga Santander and the Champions League, scoring one goal and providing four assists.

Hazard also showed his admiration for the way in which Chelsea are earning their stellar results, and when asked if the transfer ban was actually a good thing, he replied: "I don't know".

Chelsea FC fans will be hoping to see Abraham continue his fine form for the Blues when they take on Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday evening. "To move around the pitch is not so good, when you're playing one year there, and another year there", he explained. For England it's good, for Chelsea's it's good.

"The laziest player I have played alongside is Eden Hazard", the Nigerian said. Maybe with two or three more players they would [be] first!

"I still have friends there are want them to do well". "They are winning at the moment so I'm just happy for them". He won two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.
