"Deadpool 3" is happening and will be part of Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that the third instalment in the anti-superhero saga will be included in the MCU, with him saying that the foul-mouthed mercenary will be a "different type of character" for the studio.
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld previously criticised Marvel for the delay in starting work on the highly-anticipated third movie and said a year ago that the character "didn't fit" into their universe.
Feige added that actor Ryan Reynolds, who will reprise the leading role, is also working with sisters Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux on the script. While speaking with Collider, Feige said, "We're interested in the political paranoia aspect of Secret Invasion and really showcasing the stars with Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn, two awesome actors that you want to have in any series, and we're very lucky to have them for that".
So there you have it: Marvel will be a continued presence in both movie theaters and Disney+ for the foreseeable future, and Marvel Studios has everything down to episode runtimes planned to a tee. Even the violence has been pretty subdued even though some rather violent things were actually happening in some films.
So yeah, with the R rating (US classification) and the MCU connection confirmed, plus word that the script is underway, it's exciting stuff.... just don't expect it to be hitting cinemas all that soon. Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Captain Marvel 2 are all set to start shoot over the next year and a bit. How would that impact the rest of Marvel's plans for the X-Men?! The MCU has a very packed future ahead of it and it just got a little more f-ked up and insane with Deadpool.
