Coronavirus: 859 new cases reported today & four deaths

State health officials on Saturday reported the highest single-day increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases in IL, which surpassed 6,000 for the first time after labs conducted more than 83,000 tests for the virus in a 24-hour period.
Three other cases have also recovered, meaning the number of active cases in New Zealand is 70.
There have been less than 10 local cases of Covid-19 in the latest figures from NPHET.
There were 23 new cases of COVID-19 identified in the county since Wednesday. Yesterday, the state reported 17 new deaths.
According to the Wyoming Department of Health, there were 381 confirmed cases on Friday, which is the biggest single day increase of cases since the pandemic began in March. We encourage people to check the official website and/or Facebook page of their respective county health department for any information that is not yet included in the state's daily updates.
Kiwi are urged to get a Covid-19 test if they have symptoms, using a coronavirus testing station like this one at Auckland's Mangere, or tests at their GP or after-hours care.
All four of the deaths occurred in October.
This is the 19th day in a row the case numbers have topped 1,000. The other died in a hospital in Mid-Ulster and was aged 80 or over.
Numbers reported by the state each day occasionally differ from those reported by county public health departments due to periodic lag times in reporting data to the state. This metric indicates a warning when the weekly number of deaths increases more than 20% for two consecutive weeks.
Since the pandemic struck, MI has had 158,026 positive cases, 7,182 of which resulted in death.
