There have been three new COVID-19-related deaths, for a total of 1,441 deaths in British Columbia. It reported that 98,910 Clark County residents have received at least one dose and 47,057 Clark County residents are fully vaccinated.

With the latest infections from Wednesday's update, there have now been 93,969 total known cases of COVID-19 in B.C.

It's now been a year since the first COVID-19 cases were reported in North Escambia.

In the Vancouver Coastal Health region, there are now 1,612 active cases confirmed - the highest number since the start of the pandemic.

So far, 582,634 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, with 87,180 of those being second doses.

As of midnight, Tuesday 23rd March, the HPSC has been notified of 683 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Shots are available across B.C. for people aged 76 or older, and Indigenous people over the age of 55. This pushes the known variant case total up to 1,581 in the province, the vast majority of which are the B.1.1.7 variant associated with the United Kingdom. It said the persons were identified from samples taken between March 21 and 23.

"Worship service organizers must ensure COVID-19 safety plans are in place for all outdoor services and all attendees follow those plans", said provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix. Those attending in a vehicle must remain inside the vehicle during the service.
