As of midnight, Tuesday 23rd March, the HPSC has been notified of 683 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Shots are available across B.C. for people aged 76 or older, and Indigenous people over the age of 55. This pushes the known variant case total up to 1,581 in the province, the vast majority of which are the B.1.1.7 variant associated with the United Kingdom. It said the persons were identified from samples taken between March 21 and 23.

"Worship service organizers must ensure COVID-19 safety plans are in place for all outdoor services and all attendees follow those plans", said provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix. Those attending in a vehicle must remain inside the vehicle during the service.
