News, Sam Asghari (Britney Spears's boyfriend) fully supports her mental health treatment decision.

According to TMZ, she went in a week ago and plans to stay for a month. "We all need to take time for a little 'me time'". Spears underwent two surgeries for major issues with his intestines and colon. Spears was in the middle of a Las Vegas residency with her show Domination at the time, but soon explained to fans that she was putting any future performances on hold indefinitely in order to help care for her parent.

"It isn't weakness, It's a sign of absolute strength", the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram on Wednesday night.

"They are very close".

In November 2017, the 66-year-old father to Britney, 37, Jamie Lynn, 27, and Bryan Spears, 41, fell "seriously ill" after his colon "spontaneously ruptured", leaving him hospitalized for several months.

Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears leaves the Los Angeles County Superior courthouse on March 10, 2008. "She loves her father and the fact he isn't doing well has been a lot for Britney to deal with".

A separate source told ET on Wednesday that Spears' relationship with Asghari has been affected by her dealing with a rough 2019.

Spears has not made any official announcements on her website, and her Twitter was last used to announce her residency cancelation.

"Spears became a pop phenomenon in 1999 with her debut single.".Baby One More Time" and subsequent hits like "Oops!.I Did It Again". "I will not be performing my new show Domination", Spears wrote. "Thank you, and love you all... always", she tweeted at the time.
