Bindi Irwin advances to the US Dancing with the Stars grand final after earning another flawless score performing this jazz routine with Derek Hough and Mark Ballas.

Steve Irwin, the popular television personality and wildlife conservationist, died at 44 in 2006 after an encounter with a stingray while filming, noted Us Weekly.

Bindi didn't forget to express her gratitude and love to the two dancers.

The dance partners, who have developed a close friendship during their time on the show, embraced as Bindi prepared for the drive home with her doting mother Terri.

This was the first time in the program's history that contestants had to dance three routines in the semifinals. However, semifinalist Tamar Braxton already bowed out due to health reasons, ensuring the four remaining couples their slots to the finals.

While Bindi has enjoyed her Dancing With the Stars experience immensely, she told reporters that she wants to interact with nature again. "I'm so proud of her", Terri told "DWTS" host Erin Andrews. This week's "DWTS" semifinals saw Bindi pulling off stunning dance performances featuring the music of Major Lazer & DJ Snake featuring MØ, Nathan Lanier and Sia. We got to celebrate Chandler's birthday and then celebrate Steve Irwin Day all together. It was an absolute honor to learn and dance with you both, ' she said. "I'm extremely grateful for everyone's support and allowing us to stay and also for Derek's continued amazingness".

The teen's dance partner, Derek Hough, also paid his respects to Steve Irwin on Instagram. "It's officially #steveirwinday in Australia", he wrote. We must just remember it is always there, and to let it shine. E! News has learned that during their rehearsals on Saturday, Hough helped Powell pull off a shocker. Her meaningful birthday message read: "Happy birthday to a person who inspires me every day".
