Billie Eilish changes her look radically. Leave loose clothes!
Oct 17 2020
Billie Eilish has seemingly had a dig at body shamers after paparazzi images of her wearing plain clothes were published by the Daily Mail yesterday. "My brother and my mom both write songs and my dad has always played the piano and ukulele", Eilish revealed in a 2017 interview with Teen Vogue.
The 'singer has spoken openly about her disdain for body shamers. In a video for Calvin Klein in May 2019, Eilish had said, "I never want the world to know everything about me".
Billie Eilish appears to have responded to negative comments after she was photographed wearing shorts and a tank top. Duru said. "Not everybody has a wagon behind them, OK?" We decide who they are, we decide what they're worth. Guts are normal. You are normal.
Billie Eilish fans have rushed to defend the singer. There's nothing salacious or grotesque about them, but that hasn't stopped a number of people from tweeting cruel criticisms of how she looks, as if they were all waiting with bated breath for a reason to cut Eilish down.
The Blessed Madonna called out a troll shaming Billie Eilish over her body
Shortly following this video, Eilish shared another video from YouTuber Chizi Duru talking about normalizing real bodies. In the video, the hitmaker states that other people's opinions of her are not in her control.
Yet, all anyone seems to be able to talk about is what her body looks like. "Nobody can be like 'oh she's slim-thick, she's not slim-thick, she got a flat ass, she got a fat ass.' Nobody can say any of that because they don't know". Boobs sag, particularly after breastfeeding. "No one can say any of that because they don't know".
"Everyone having an opinion because a woman (whose job has nothing to do with her body) has a body which doesn't precisely meet society's terrifyingly narrow beauty standards is, apart from anything else, SO BORING".
Meanwhile, Billie Eilish's recent outing came after announcing a global online concert this coming October 24, 2020. However, the songwriter is not alone in her talents. "She makes music. Her body has nothing to do with the angelic voice she has". Even though you have never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why? Sadly, it's not the first time that Eilish has faced objectification on social media, and it's also why she so rarely feels comfortable wearing anything other than oversized clothing out in public (via Page Six).
