Of them, Apple said the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro will go on sale in South Korea on October 30, one week after the company launches the products in select countries, including the United States, Britain, Germany, China and Japan.

As usual, the iPhone 12 models have continued to generate mixed reactions in the industry. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will be available October 23, and the 12 Pro Max and 12 Mini will be available November 13. Similarly, the baseline iPhone 12 does not cost $799. As with the Apple Watch, the company is keeping last year's iPhone 11 around and has cut the price to $599.

The 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max come in the same four colors, while the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini have their own set of five color options.

Apple yesterday took the wraps off the iPhone 12 series which is made up of four different models - iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Other products making their first appearance at the launch event included the HomePod mini, a smaller version of Apple's HomePod smart speaker, which will be priced at £99 in the United Kingdom and US$99 in the USA and will be shipping on November 16.
