The New York Democrat said she plans to start streaming a game of Among Us Tuesday night. She has criticized President Donald Trump over feedback he made with reference to Proud Boys in the course of the election debate.

Among Us, released in 2018, is an online multiplayer game where players are dropped onto a spaceship, and those assigned to be "crew members" must race to finish tasks before "imposters" kill them. "(I've never played but it looks like a lot of fun)" and following up with a "Who would you want to watch in a game together?" very genuinely looking for a good group to play with.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is seeking to get the vote out by taking part in one of the common video games of 2020 on her Twitch stream right now. If ever there was a streamer who probably should be involved in playing Among Us with a politician, it's Hasan.

The goal depends on your character assignment. "Let's do it!" Rep. Ocasio-Cortez wrote back.

Twitter has nominated a variety of potential players, including other politicians such as Sen.

Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has also earned her path to Partner on Twitch, with over 9,000 followers so far.

Joining Twitch is Ocasio-Cortez's latest effort to encourage voter participation ahead of next month's election. And AOC's newly-created Twitch account has already amassed almost 200,000 followers. The name Neekolul might not be immediately recognisable to those who aren't avid scrollers of TikTok, but the 100 Thieves streamer rose to meme fame by being known as the "O.K Boomer Girl" in support of Bernie Sanders when the Democratic nominations were still ongoing.

In recent months, Ocasio-Cortez has been using social media to spread awareness about and resources for voting, including guides to voter registration, polling information, community organizing and safely returning ballots amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "Now is the time to work".
